Joshua's Journey
Dave Turner came out of retirement for one reason: his son Joshua.
When Joshua was placed in an ICU coma and faced paralysis, Dave experienced firsthand what it means to be in desperate need — of support, of community, of hope. That experience changed everything.
As Joshua began his recovery, Dave channelled that experience into something larger than himself. He saw the same vulnerability — families without access to something as basic as clean water — in communities across Malawi and the developing world. GiftingtoGain was born from that parallel: the understanding that life's most essential needs are often the most overlooked, and that those with the means to help can do so in a way that benefits everyone.
